As soon as I saw this month's cover of Everyday with Rachel Ray, I knew I needed to have the sweater coat she's wearing on the cover. So, I checked out the photo credits, took a little help from google and voila! I found a boutique online that carries it...for the bargain price of $451.00.

So Handsome

Kendall and I both got a little choked up when mom showed us Doug's senior portrait proofs. It had never occurred to me that he would get them, and to have them turn out so well tugged at the heartstrings a bit. He just looks so grown up and happy and handsome.

(not) Top Chef

I'm obsessed with season 3 of Top Chef and stayed up late last night, only to see my favorite contestant, C.J., get eliminated from the competition. I mentioned to Doug that a fantastic birthday gift would be to arrange a guest judge spot for me all season so I could taste every plate of the food they prepare. I think that's reasonable.

Targeting Bridesmaids

I had heard the press a while ago that Target carried a wedding line, but I did not know that they also have bridesmaids offerings. Considering most bridesmaid dresses are only worn for a couple hours before retiring to the back of one's closet, they seem to be an extremely affordable option and not all awful.
