Some mornings, Oakley wakes up early and hops up into bed to steal some snuggle time before getting up for the day. Before 6am, I felt the bed shaking and, without opening my eyes, I figured she was at the foot, scratching her leg for several seconds. It wasn't until I was fully awake that I realized she was sound asleep in her bed on the floor when I got up for the day. I didn't put it all together until I flipped on the morning news -- apparently I did feel the earthquake this morning!
