Now that the floor refinishing is underway (and my house resembles the Dust Bowl), I'm starting to think about furnishing my dining room with something other than leftover chairs in need of fresh upholstery. As much as I love eating my meals in the oversized chair and ottoman, it would be nice to sit at a real table every now and then. I've been happy with all of my other Cost Plus World Market furniture buys, so I'm eyeing two of their dining tables as potential finalists. When the right table finds its way to my home, I wonder if I'll keep it perpetually set, just like catalogue photos where the occupants are prepared for random dinner guests around the clock.
