The other evening our friend Liam stopped by the house and was raving about how good the artichokes were that he found at our local market. So good, in fact, that he had bought a bunch and was dropping them off like the artichoke fairy at a few friends' homes.I was delighted, since I love artichokes but never seem to buy them or plan them into a meal. Doug was grateful, but a little bewildered as to how one would cook or eat such a thing. I did my best to explain to him as I immediately started a pot for steaming, but this tutorial, How to Clean, Cook and Eat an Artichoke (complete with photos), would have come in handy.
