Denial

We're trying to prepare Will for his upcoming role as big brother. Here's how some of our conversations go:

Me: "Will, do you know there's a baby in mommy's belly?"
Will: "(Cocks his head to one side.) No?"
Me: "Yes, right here in my belly."
Will: "(Lifts up my shirt a little to inspect, looking from side to side.) No. (Checks one more time to be safe.) No."
