While it might not be the best idea to encourage children to experiment with knives, I can't help but like this wooden food and cutting set from The Play Cottage.The pieces of fruit and vegetables are pre-sliced and held together with velcro, which the child can 'cut' with the wooden knife (and cutting board, of course, to protect any counters or floors). I wonder if Cole would enjoy working alongside Monnica and Brad in the kitchen? :0)
