As of this morning, I'm officially registered for the local Flying Pig Marathon, held on Sunday, May 1. I've decided I'm only crazy (and/or fit) enough to run the 13-mile half race, though, and not the full 26-point-whatever miles. It took quite a bit of serious contemplation, as the elevation course map shows a general climb from about mile 5 to 10 and I have a passionate dislike of hills. Note to self: In the future, strive to run races in flat places like Kansas and Indiana.
