Scandal or not, James Frey's A Million Little Pieces is a book worth reading. I honestly could not care less if parts were embellished; the story stands on its own. In fact, My Friend Leonard (the follow up to Pieces) and Tao Te Ching (the philosophy Frey references) just jumped to the top of my reading list.
