I tried to ignore the rumors, but it came straight from Katie Couric's mouth this morning that she's leaving the Today show and will join the CBS Evening News cast. Yes, she's perky and has a tendency to abruptly segue stories with, "Anyway..." but I like her. Sniff, it just won't be the same.
