The chair must be stable for the Totseat to be safe - this is crucial - and the child should of course never be left unattended, or allowed to wobble the chair, or push against anything which would topple them over. Assuming all these factors, it's a great little portable chair harness, perfect to pop in your bag and use when there are no other highchairs available. Tens of thousands of babies, and their parents, love them - we hope you will too.
