Planting the garden also jump-started another project I'd been putting off for too long: setting up a compost. Yuck.When I read that our county was offering a one-day sale this May, Will and I marked our calendars and brought home an Earth Machine for $35. Composting our kitchen and yard waste is catching on in the Sears household; I've even caught Doug getting excited when he remembers that certain items can be added to our bin.
