Donna's baby back ribs

Super Bowl Sunday calls for super food, like Donna's famous ribs... or at least my version of them since I can never seem to follow a recipe exactly. Thanks, mom!

In a large roasting pan lined with foil, combine:

1 slab baby back ribs, seasoned liberally with salt, pepper, and whatever else sounds good (I added Tony's)
2 sliced onions
1-2 sliced bell peppers
a handful of smashed garlic cloves

Fold the foil closed and bake at 325 for about 5 hours. Optional: open the foil near the end of cooking, cover with BBQ sauce and broil for a caramelized coating, or finish on the grill.
