Doug's new bachelor pad

It's been a long process, often fraught with obstacles and challenges for my parents, but this December, my brother Doug hit a huge milestone and moved into a place of his own. He shares a rental home with two roommates in a quiet family subdivision in Indianapolis, close to his beloved Broadripple ducks and day program, with full-time staff. I've been able to visit him twice so far, and by all accounts, photos and updates, he seems to be adjusting quite well. 2013 will be a year unlike any other for the Van Dyke family.
