Crab Boil

Having a brother-in-law from Louisiana certainly has advantages—esp when it comes to learning about great seafood dishes. I believe he introduced me to the culinary delight know as a crab boil. So last night, my butter warmer came out of storage, and I packed my largest pot with potatoes, fresh corn, shrimp, alaskan crab legs and a packet of spices, and enjoyed a great dinner with friends. I was reminded of how potent the spices are and how they tickle your nose and thoat while boiling! And any seafood meal isn't complete without the 'family' recipe for cocktail sauce: ketchup, fresh lemon juice and creamy horseradish. Yummy!
