When I wasn't trying to catch an hour of sleep at the Clevelander (much fun, but not a place to try and catch shuteye at 6am), I managed to finish this month's book club novel on the lovely Miami beaches. Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is an unusual murder mystery, conveying more insight into the thinkings of an autistic boy than deducing who-done-it. I couldn't put it down! As the sister of an autistic boy myself, I was fascinated to see someone take a crack at what really goes on behind the seemingly illogical behaviors and processes often associated with autistic tendencies. Fantastic read!
